Summary: 

Overall the website is strongest but still needs development on each page 

Contents pages are okay but need to add lines and more framing to give it more structure 

Front covers are weakest areas, they lack vibrancy and seem a little dull

Action plan: 

Continue to develop website 

Take some more photos, of different models, for website 

Need to add an editors note to website 

Finish editing and upload 30 second clip to website 

Create new mockups for front covers- may try different colour palettes, layout etc 

Need to add lines and framing to contents pages

NEA- contents page development

 I have been working on my contents pages and finalising the layout. I would like to incorporate more onto the left hand side of the pages but this will come further on once the right hand side is full

I have updated my website now and have two working pages- these still need further development and i also still need to add my audio visual clip.

 For the behind the lens segment, i would like to create the film reels on either side interactive but this will come at a later date.

I am now focusing on developing my contents pages for both editions

I have now completed my other front cover but i still need to make some tweaks before submitting as my first draft

 I am now continuing to finish off my contents page for my second edition by adding in article titles.

 I have now completed my first draft of my second front cover. 

NEA- magazine issue two continued

 For my contents page I have now written my editors letter ad added in social media takes, I may change the colouring of the logos so they blend better with the background. 

For my front cover image added in a few small details like the issue no, date, price and barcode, I may remove the background on the barcode so that it blends better with the background. Upon reflection, i am also going to fix the lighting and shadows on the main image so that it stands out more.

i have selected my front cover image for the second edition and have now begun to coordinate the colour schemes of these two pages. I used a colour filter on my main image on my contents page and removed the background to create a more navy warmer tone to match the colour scheme of the front cover image.

This lesson I continued working on the layout of my contents page and tried to stick to the 6 columns for my layout. I may change the colour scheme further down the line.

I have started my contents page, i spent this lesson editing my photos and then starting to format my page.

 i have now compiled a selection of images to see which will look best for my front covers for my other cover.

I have now reshot with both of my models and feel I have images that are well suited for my front covers. I have now started to layout my masthead and see potential images which i could use as my front cover. I will start doing this with my other front cover edition as well.
