I added in an audience interaction section that reflects my call to action in the first edition 

This is another audience interaction section to reflect the call to action from the second edition

I made the fonts smaller so it was less clunky, swapped some of the photos round, added a cover look box, finalised some layout details and added a call to action for readers.

I changed some of the photos around so they were not all of the same models.

I merged the about us section onto the opening page and added a pop up for my editors letter.

I made the font of the articles area smaller so it did not look as clustered, added a call to action underneath my editors letter and website addresses at the bottom of the page. I also swapped around some of the article photos.

I added some interactive elements to the first issue section that will appeal to my target audience.

I added a second section show casing the second edition to create digital convergence

I decided to add a third colour to this front cover to make it pop more and give it some more shape. I also added the puff of the bond issue to further solidify my intertextuality. I added some more cover lines to fill out the page as well.

I decided to change some of the smaller images as so they are not all the same model. 

I decided to add a second cover line to the front cover to fix the layout issues and I also opted to use a different font for the “50’s” as it is the font used in the breakfast at Tiffany’s film poster.

I have now added lines and added some subtle layout changes as well as the cover look box. I still need to add a call to action in my editors letter and will change the smaller photos to be some different models to be more conventional of a contents page

I have changed the colour schemes of these pages to reflect the front covers but i still wish to add some more lines to create structure and write the cover look boxes. I may also play around with the main image on the second edition contents page as it may not work with the new colour scheme as well.

I am currently very pleased with this front covers so am not going to make any changes for now but may return to it at a later date to make any final changes.

I really like this new front covers and i now need to add some more cover lines as the page looks a bit sparse.

I am now beginning to add in more interactive elements and incorporating the colour schemes from my front covers to show digital convergence. 

I have also added in an editors note as this was missing from the first draft, and styled out the about us section more.

I have done some re evaluating for my second edition cover and have chosen to try a different cover image so that both covers are more varied in shot type and also allows me to use a different colour scheme.

These are new mockups for my first edition, part of my feedback was to make the covers pop more so I have tried using a brighter colour scheme. I really like the last colour scheme as his is Tiffany blue which will tie into my intertextuality (Audrey Hepburn breakfast at Tiffany’s) but I worry that it will be too similar to my other cover.

For my second edition i have tried using brighter colours again that match to the inside of the suit jacket. I like the last option best but this is similar to my first draft so it may not pop enough.
